Congratulations to Principal Jennifer Hertzberg who was recognized as the FCPS 2020 Region 1 Outstanding New Principal and one of five finalists for the 2020 Outstanding New Principal Award!
Jennifer is proud to create a “Culture of Thinking” at Flint Hill. Beyond establishing close relationships with students and families, the heart of what makes Flint Hill special is a strategic focus on deeper learning and innovation. She envisioned three building blocks that now drive the collective efforts of the Flint Hill learning community and support the Portrait of a Flint Hill Graduate: Social and Emotional Learning, Creating Thinkers and Learners, and Literacy. These building blocks are revisited each year and represent shared beliefs and actions that shape teaching and learning. Since shifting the paradigm of the Level IV Advanced Academic Program (AAP) to a focus on AAP for all, learning continues to be reimagined to ensure all students achieve!
